Decarbonisation of cities
We have gradually enriched and systematised our “Research & Action” method, which consists of co-developing next-generation decision support tools to decarbonize cities directly with the field actors concerned, whether they are local authorities, voluntary developers, or end users of design or industrial offices.
A provenR&D model
We have finalised development of a software reference suite for decarbonising development projects and we continue working to enrich its functionalities. Building on this success, we are starting to adapt these tools to new geographical contexts: Overseas departments and regions (DROM), Maghreb, etc.
Our new major R&D projects
Efficacity was commissioned to coordinate development of the toolkit for the decarbonization of communities, namely for the development and implementation of their climate plans. In addition, Efficacity has been mandated, with Cerema, to develop a national platform to identify communities for which the deployment of heating/cooling networks is a priority.
A performance-based approach
Based on all its work, Efficacity contributes to strengthening new standardisation and labeling approaches as well as the emergence of new professions and contractual practices aimed at guaranteeing better performance at the neighbourhood level”.
